⭐️Backstage at BBC’s So Awkward Academy Filming 🤩 Ok, I know I’m going on about it now! But it was honestly so exciting and so much fun!!! I think these photos really capture the enjoyment we had filming and working with the cast on the show. Also our ‘lovely’ outfits!!! I actually love dressing up so I wasn’t bothered but i know the attire wouldn’t be top choice for the kids! lol Not only did our dancers and staff have an amazing experience where we learnt so much but we were all paid for featuring in the show and for my choreographic input. ⭐️OUR DANCERS ARE ON TV ⭐️. I’m so excited to announce that the new season of So Awkward Academy is available from today on BBC iPlayer! The show features Dancers from Sylk Dance Academy along with our friends @tgastdance who took part in 3 days of filming to be in the episode ‘Dirty Country Dancing.’ It was an incredible opportunity for the dancers and also me as I was hired to choreograph & also double for one of the cast members. We got to experience what filming for a T.V show was really like (it’s lots of hours and re-takes!) and we were incredibly lucky to meet so many wonderful people who were so supportive and not to mention inspirational. @samcforth was incredible in the show so please check him out on instagram too :) Make sure you catch the whole show as it’s a real gem!
